Hi everyone!

This is to let you know about the BEAT AIDS 10th Annual Banquet & Dance, to be held Friday, 3 October 2003, at The Club at Sonterra.

This event is BEAT AIDS' major fund-raising event for the year. BEAT AIDS is a community-based non-profit 501(c)3 agency (in San Antonio, TX) that provides case management and social services to people with HIV and AIDS, as well as reaching out to the community to provide HIV testing and prevention education. Since our programs and administrative costs are covered by state and federal grants, money donated to BEAT AIDS goes directly to help our neediest and most vulnerable clients.

The evening will include a silent auction, an awards ceremony, a banquet, and a keynote presentation featuring comedian Steve Moore, who won acclaim for his HBO special "Drop Dead Gorgeous: The Power of HIV-Positive Thinking". The evening will conclude with a dance. Dinner is included in the price of the ticket; a cash bar will be available.

Tickets are $50, and may be purchased through me (email: [email protected]). Make checks payable to BEAT AIDS, Inc. I know that this event will be an enjoyable evening for all, and I hope that you will be generous in your support of BEAT AIDS and the community we serve.

IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND THE BANQUET, please consider buying a ticket and allowing us to give it to a client. Many of our clients live on *very* low incomes, and attending an event like this would be a special occasion for them indeed!

Thank you so much, and God bless you all!

Much Love,

Will Baker
