a prayer...

In grant-writing season, it's easy to get a little cynical. Any of you who are the praying kind, please pray for those of us who work with/for people living with HIV. Help us to remember that jumping through the hoops of some ridiculous Request for Proposals is the smallest part of what we do. Lift us up in your prayers, that we may remember why we do all of this to begin with.

For Those in HIV/AIDS Ministry

Almighty and Everlasting God, hear the prayers of your people, who seek your grace to accomplish good works in your name. Be especially with those who support and care for persons living with HIV and AIDS. Grant us patient and attentive ears, gentle hands and focused eyes, and faithfulness to our Covenant that witnesses to the truth of the dignity of every human being. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
